You’ll be an essential part of our care team, supporting our providers and creating a great experience for every patient who walks through our doors.
We’ll have you blending clinical and administrative duties and will need your help with procedures and educating patients.

What we will need you to do:
- Make sure we get patient encounters and communications in our EMR system quickly and accurately
- Be someone who can communicate between the patient and the provider, relay instructions and address patient questions with tact and diplomacy
- Prepare and maintain clean, stocked and organized exam and procedure rooms according to safety guidelines
- Reconcile and update medication lists in the EMR
- Process and manage prescription refill requests as directed by the provider
- Inform patients of office procedures and policies
- Check patients in (Record patient medical histories, chief complaints, and medication lists. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure and weight.)
- Check patients out (Discuss provider recommendations and answer questions.)
- Engage with patients via phone and electronic portal regarding therapies and prescriptions
- Order diagnostics
- Assist with in office procedures and testing
- Process and submit lab orders as requested
- Sort, route and respond to incoming faxes
- Obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
- Maintain office logs and procedure protocol
- Special Projects as assigned

Schedule:
- 4 days per week, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. (non-negotiable)
Preferred Education:
- High school or equivalent
- Current Medical Assistant certification from a nationally recognized organization (CMS, CCMA or RMA)
Experience:
- Experience in an integrative, functional, or regenerative medicine practice (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
- Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy skills a plus
- Private Practice a plus
