2 lbs bulk sage sausage (best quality - Whole Foods butcher counter is recommended)
1 whole red or green cabbage chopped (or combo of both)
1 large onion chopped
1 tbs garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper
1.) Brown sausage in heavy pot, do not drain
2.) Add next 4 ingredients
3.) Simmer on top of stove covered for 20 minutes on medium/medium high heat until vegetables are soft, stirring periodically
